Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey® (PMMS®) results released September 26 show average fixed mortgage rates fell following the Federal Reserve announcement that it will maintain its bond buying stimulus. The average rate on the 30-year fixed mortgage is at its lowest level since the week ending July 25, 2013.

Results of Freddie Mac’s Primary Mortgage Market Survey® (PMMS®) released Sept. 19 show average fixed mortgage rates moving lower amid signs of a weakening economic recovery, which in part also prompted the Federal Reserve to continue its bond buying program.
